The psalmist extended an open invitation for all God's people to sing praises unto their King, so we invite you to join us in making music which brings glory to God (Ps. 95:1).

At Bethel Church, we strongly believe that we have been charged with the responsibility of utilizing music to effectively . . .

Exalt the Savior - by leading the body of believers into a unified attitude of worship through songs of praise and adoration.
Edify the Saints - by sharing songs of encouragement, testimony and teaching.

Evangelize the Sinner - by musically proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ our Savior.

We want to introduce you to the opportunities for involvement that exist within the Bethel Music Ministry. We hope that God will lead you to utilize your gifts and abilities to their greatest potential by becoming an active part of our ministry.

The Celebration Choir

The Celebration Choir ministers each week during the worship time. The choir is a key element in leading the congregation to direct their songs of adoration and praise to God. Since the choir functions in such an important role from week to week it serves as the primary group of music ministry within Bethel Church. The choir functions as the heartbeat of the entire music program, giving lifeblood to every other aspect of the Music Ministry.

Our church also utilizes ensembles and soloists to minister to the church body. These groups and individuals are an extension of the choir ministry which serves as the core group.

If a person is interested in ministering vocally at Bethel Church, it is our desire that the person make a commitment to the choir first. Should one choose to broaden his opportunity for music ministry as a soloist or member of an ensemble, he would be expected to dedicate himself to an even greater level of commitment.

It is our desire, as we seek to glorify God, to always maintain the highest standard of excellence and integrity in our choir presentation. To maintain the highest standard of quality it is necessary to have faithful participation from those whom God has gifted musically. Our music ministry realizes that there are sometimes circumstances that prevent an individual from being a regular part of the choir, but one may be available to participate in an ensemble or minister as a soloist. In such a case, the individual should meet personally with the Minister of Music will confer with the Celebration Choir Officers and based upon their recommendation, share with the individual how he can best be utilized in the music ministry. The Celebration Choir meets each Sunday afternoon at 4:45 PM for rehearsal. The choir sings regularly each week during the morning and evening worship services. It also ministers seasonally by preparing musicals and other special productions.

Children's Choirs

Cubby Bears - Preschool Choir

Our preschool age choir is always an adventure to watch. This group of energetic & spontaneous 2-5 year olds are sure to keep your attention while capturing your heart. Cubby Bears is not only to teach our children music, but to instill the love of God in them at an early age. The “cubbies” meet on Sunday evenings during the adult worship hour (6:30 PM) in room 214.

God’s Little Lambs - Primary Choir

This is an exciting and instructive choir and bible training time for children in grades k-2. Not only do we teach basic music theory and performance techniques, but we also emphasize godly character and Biblical principles. The choir rehearses each Sunday morning at 10:45 AM in the Paramore Building. This group also stays busy preparing new songs and dramas that are performed throughout the year.

Kidz Prayz - Junior Choir

"Raring To Go" is the best way to describe these 3-5 graders. They minister to the congregation once a month on Sunday evenings. This group of "raring rowdies" rehearses each Sunday evening at 5:30 PM in our in the music room (room 215). The group also prepares special songs and dramas that are performed throughout the year.

Instrumental Music

We are always eager to use individual instrumentalists in our music program. Instrumentalists are presently being used to provide special music, offertories, and accompanying choral music.
